27th January 2010“When I first arranged to meet Stuart Maddocks from Clemorton Consultancy I must confess to feeling a little trepidation at meeting a representative from an international management training consultancy. However I was absolutely delighted that over the following few months in planning together a leadership and management course, that Stuart showed a huge understanding of the challenges of working with students faced by university careers services, and we worked together in a true partnership. This continued in the 3-day course we delivered to 12 students during which Stuart very quickly developed a rapport with the entire group and this was reflected in very impressive feedback at the end of the course. I have been keen to secure further funding to continue work with Stuart and Clemorton, and I’m delighted that this year we are together running an all day Assessment Centre course for Brighton students and this will involve Stuart working with all members of the Careers Centre team. Hopefully this partnership can continue into the future as this is bringing together a mixture of skills and knowledge for the benefit of our students”
