The Programme has been widely acclaimed and very well recieved, both within HE and the local community.
"Intense, interesting and a great experience. Learning to Lead really helped me learn about myself, how I work in teams and also was a crucial experience to mention during online forums and interviews when applying for first year internships. I got onto the Price Waterhouse Cooper first year Insight Academy Programme and that's pretty much a direct result of Learning to Lead"

This year, for the first time, the Careers and Employability Centre and Stuart Maddocks, from Clemorton Consultancy have also teamed up to pilot and deliver some Saturday Leadership workshops. These are for student representatives with some of the 160 places being made available for other students.
Professor Clare Mackie, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Teaching and Learning), has a strong vision to see student representatives at Sussex get the the opportunity to develop leadership skills and student feedback so far has been very positive:
‘Fantastic…just what I needed . This Leadership Workshop helped me to understand what leadership is about.”
“A more powerful experience than you imagine and the day brought theory and practice together with practical exercises in a fun way.”
“Really helpful, I have attended leadership programmes before in my home country but I’ve never been on such an excellent day programme as this one!”
